Place at the tip of the actor's head
Place at the center of the forehead.
Place on the left side of the head, about 5 cm behind the left ear.
Placed on the right side of the head, right above the right ear.
Place the marker on the spine right below the neck. (LUArmHigh, LShoulderBack, BackTop, RshoulderNack, and RUArmHigh should align roughly in a line when in T-pose.)
Place the marker at the center of the sternum, about 5 cm below where the neck starts.
Place the marker at the lowest section of the Sternum ( Xiphoid Process) where bottom of two rig cages conjoin
Place the marker about 2 cm above one of the dimples located on the waist back (posterior iliac spine bone).
These markers are place at the protruding bone (left/right anterior iliac spine bone) located on the front of the pelvis. They can be palpated at the left and right side of the waist.
Place the WaistLBack and WaistRBack markers right above the left/right hip; about 10 cm higher than the hip joint.
Refer to the Skeleton avatar for the relative position. These two markers are located symmetrically on the sides of the back.
Place the marker at the shoulder joint (glenohumeral joint) on the back. Repeat few cycles of arm abduction and adductions to palpate where skin movements are minimal during the range of motions.
Place the marker at the distal end of the clavicle bone on the left/right shoulder where you can palpate the protruding bone (Acromioclavicular joint).
Place the marker on the elbow point, slightly towards the upper arm, or the distal end of the humerous.
Placed on the back of the upper arm segment. (LUArmHigh, LShoulderBack, BackTop, RshoulderNack, and RUArmHigh should align roughly in a line when in T-pose.)
Fore Arm / Hand
Place it at the outside (lateral side) of the wrist axis. Palpate the wrist and feel for the protruding bone (distal end of the radius bone).
Fore Arm / Hand
Fore Arm / Hand
Place it at the inside (medial side) of the wrist axis. Palpate the wrist and feel for the protruding bone (distal end of the ulnar bone).
Fore Arm / Hand
Place the marker on the side of the forearm. Refer to the avatar in Skeleton pane.
Place it below the pinky knuckle. More specifically, between the distal end of the fifth and fourth mertacarpal bones. Place the markers (LHandOut, LWristOUt, and LWristIn (and LHandOut)) markers it so the shape created by the marker is asymmetrical and unique from the other hand markers.
Place the marker below the knuckle of the index finger. Attempt to place it so that the shape of marker arrangement is asymmetrical and are unique to the shape on the markers on the other hand.
Place the marker on the lateral epicondyle of the femur. Palpate the knee for protruding bone from the upper leg, and place it right on the axis. Ask the actor to flex and extend the knee few times to confirm that markers are placed along the axis and maintain stationary throughout the range of motion cycles.
Place the marker on the front side of the thigh, along the midline.
Place the marker on the lateral side of the thigh. Ideally, L/R ThighSide, L/R KneeOut, and L/R AnkleOut markers should be roughly in a line.
Place the marker on the lateral malleolus bone on the ankle.
Place the marker on the shin bone; on the midline of the lower leg.
Distal end of the fifth metatarsal bone, just before the little toe joint.
Distal end of the first metatarsal bone, before the big toe joint.
Place at the center of the heel.
Place the marker on the second toe.
